I just found out that I am not really on probation this semester.

I passed Econ11… finally!

And I’ll be taking a special removals exam tomorrow on Biology 2 Laboratory. I just hope I will pass the exam. I already canceled Biology 2 on my SystemOne. So, I really have to pass this exam. Or else, it would take me eons to graduate. *knock*

Oh well, prayers really do help. Thank God!

Time: 11:00pm – 12:30am
Setting: 1st Floor Sala

just watched the beijing 2008 olympics’ closing. and the question of all, what country will be the next host of the olympics? you want some clue? okay then, here are your clues: Leona Lewis, Prince Harry, and David Beckham. yes. oh yes. england’s going to be the next host of the olympics. specifically, london. it’s gonna be london 2012, 4 years from now.

there was this double deck bus, which is a famous form of transport in england. it transformed into some castle, i think. i know, right. it was so clever. man, i’m telling you, it’ll give you the creeps. then leona lewis rose out of the bus, showcasing her singing prowess along with jimmy page who’s famous for his talent in playing the guitar. then what do you know, david beckham was also there. i was really anticipating for victoria beckham. *laughs* but no, she wasn’t part of it. if only fashion is a sport. *sigh*

and man, from the very top of the bird’s nest were the fireworks. it was so awesome!!!

the closing ceremony was so awesome! there was this “Memory Tower” where acrobats were doing some spectacular stunts. they were making figures with just their bodies moving. plus their costumes added an effect on the whole act. the best figure was the logo of the beijing 2008 olympics, which was done lastly. it was really a not-miss.

Beijing, Beijing. Wo Ai Beijing.

i don’t know why, but Rain was also singing along with the other chinese singers. weird. i believe he is a Korean, right?

sorry for being so random. i just can’t wait another day to pass to post this blog. that’s why i haven’t edited it yet. my bad.

—–

can’t wait for London 2012. then Philippines 2016? you’ll never know. you’ll never know.

i can’t imagine it. Philippines being the host of the Olympics? *laughs* the only way we can host the olympics is to turn MOA into an olympic stadium. but still, i really think it’s not enough. and duh, as if we can afford to bid for the next olympics. we can’t even afford to bid for the asian games. i guess we should be contented with the sea games experience. and if ever we won in the bidding, we can’t accomodate all the olympic delegates. where will they stay? sa SOGO?!

LIGHT THE PASSION, SHARE THE DREAM – this is this year’s theme for the lighting of torch.

last year was – PASS THE FLAME, UNITE THE WORLD/NATIONS, i’m not sure.

all in all, the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics was a visual spectacle.

You Just Wasted My Time

11:30:12 PM

Time: 7:30pm – 11:00pm
Characters: Elmer and company, Mei, Sam, and Myself
Setting: Barracks, Square, Coffee Blends, Mini Stop, and Java Avenue

“Pinaghintay Mo Kami, Ngunit Walang Nangyari.”
(telenovela-ish nuff for you?)

it was a not-so-awesome night tonight. i got home with a hot head, pissed, and did i say pissed?

it started when i didn’t go to a family-friend’s debut party just for some gathering that our HS Alumni President organized for our <sarcasm>oh-so-special</sarcasm> batchmate who just got home from some gruesome military academy – PMMA. and what do you know, Ms. President wasn’t even there. but at least her reasons were excusable. she was forgiven.

we planned to meet at the Square by 7pm. and there we waited, but still our <sarcasm>oh-so-special</sarcasm> batchmate Elmer’s not there. we waited for like 60 minutes. i know it is equivalent to 1 hour, but it would look much longer if i say that we waited for 60 minutes. and so there, excuses, excuses, excuses. what do you expect from him, he never changed. and will never will.

and we were all there. the excitement of seeing him bogged down. i just said Hi, and didn’t bother talk to him the whole night.

then we decided to go to coffee blends to eat dinner. and i know that this is not right. inviting them to eat at coffee blends? please. and i was right, their noises polluted the whole atmosphere inside coffee blends. which made my irritation towards them worsen. plus, they were all borrowing my psp. god, can’t you buy yourself one?

they are just so irritating. ugaling kalye, if i may. i can’t take them.

and when i reached my top temper, i decided to just go out and walk. good thing, Mei accompanied me. then we decided to go back, again. we sat, waited, and at last, they were all finished with their businesses inside the coffee shop.

pissed and all, Mei and I decided to grab some Hershey’s sundae at Mini Stop. at least, it reduced our irritation. thank you Mini Stop.

then we went back. Sam told us that they were at JAvenue. so off we go to JAvenue. i think i was the one who suggested to just stay at JAvenue and let ‘em drink there. yeah, i guess i was the one.

i was so into partying that night. but i just can’t. i am still pissed. and there were no one on the dancefloor. for god sakes, it is saturday night. most of the up peeps went home to their provinces, hometown, etc. (as if i’ll dance my night away on the dancefloor. i’m too shy to dance. a nod-dance is enough for me. man, i’m not a man of my words. tsk.)

we stayed until we finished our sundaes. then we went home. end of story.
